What are the minimum requirements to run this program?
macOS 10.15+ or Windows 10 (64-bit), 8 GB RAM, 1 GB free disk, internet for activation. Recommended: macOS 12+ / Windows 11, 16 GB RAM. Not supported for reliable use: 2012-era MacBook Airs. Not supported machines may work however some features may not function properly.
Are licenses for one machine or multiple?
One machine, however the license may be transferred an unlimited number of times. Only one license may be used at a time.
Is there a Chromebook version?
No, however we are currently developing one. When building Marching Mapper we started with a Mac & Windows focus first, so there's a lot of code to unscramble before we get it out.
I found a bug, where do I submit it?
Bugs may be submitted on the Bug Tracker page.
Is the mobile app free?
Yes, but it is NOT A DRILL DESIGN APP. Marching Mapper Buddy is designed to be a drill viewer for teaching and learning drill made with Marching Mapper. There are features to modify dots, however they are very limited. The mobile app is free and the shows can be shared to an unlimited amount of students for no extra charge. The only charge you may need is if you want to have more than 3 shows on your account.
Can Marching Mapper import files from other programs like PyWare?
The Marching Mapper team has figured out the inner workings of other project files, however we will not ever have a direct import button. We want to protect the intellectual property of other companies. However, Marching Mapper includes an experimental "Upload Dot Cards and Dot Sheets" function. It may not work with every type of card and sheet export so use with caution.

Is Marching Mapper owned by a bigger company?
Yes and no. Marching Mapper is developed by Fermata Works, LLC, a small company with only a few members. The company is not owned by another higher company. We specialize in everything marching band, from websites for ensembles to full on marching band shows. For more information visit fermataworks.com
Will Marching Mapper Sell My Data?
